Copa Sin Límites – A Massive Success for Squash

This past weekend saw Copa Sín Limites , a one-of-a-kind squash exhibition full of firsts for the sport and fittingly translating to “Cup Without Limits”.

Organized by Harrow Sports Director of Marketing & E-Commerce, Sarycarmen Diaz, the event featured top PSA players from Latin America playing against top PSA players from Egypt.

Copa Sin Límites started with a 70-person children’s clinic given by Moustafa Hamada and most all of the Copa players. #TeamHarrow’s Marwan ElShorbagy signed autographs and spoke to the young athletes about his life, dispensing advice for their own squash careers.

While the other players were at the clinics, Mohamed ElShorbagy visited a Mexico City Hospital with the Dr. Payaso “Clown Care” Association, spending time with children suffering from cancer.

Next came the main event, which had enthusiastic squash fans lined up outside for hours preceding the FREE exhibition. Taking place in the Bosque de Chapultepec “Central Park of Mexico City”, the passionate crowd quickly reached the stadium’s capacity, filling the 800 available seats plus room for 200 to watch via telecast outside.

Although Harrow’s Marwan and his Egyptian compatriots lost to Latin America, the world class event was a massive success with children getting to opportunity to play and interact with the best squash players in the world, and hundreds of fans getting to experience the game free of charge, and try out Harrow products.

Take it from Marwan, “I love Mexico and would love to come back, see you next year. Looking forward for Copa Sin Límites 2017″
