The Valkyries of Louisville Sacred Heart (KY) traveled to the center of the high school field hockey universe this past weekend to show PA what they’ve been up to since their 3rd straight KY State Championship. The clear winner in their 26hr, 3 game marathon was field hockey.

The Valkyries were selected as the HockeyPower Team of the Week for their courageous efforts to find the toughest competition in the nation. While in the Keystone State, the Valkyries fought Lake Lehman to a 0-0 draw Friday night before falling to Lehighton Saturday morning 2-1 and Wyoming Seminary Saturday evening 2-1.
