Two of #TeamHarrow Make it to Hong Kong Open Finals, Amanda Sobhy and Karim Abdel Gawad

The 2016 Hong Hong Open Championships mark the official start of professional squash season, and for the first time in history, Harrow sponsored athletes occupied 3 of the 8 spots in the Semi Finals in this duel World Series event, with Amanda Sobhy and Karim Abdel Gawad making it through to the Finals, and Ryan Cuskelly in the Semi’s.

Saturday’s Semi Finals saw a Harrow vs. Harrow battle, with Karim competing against Ryan Cuskelly, and Gawad ultimately pulling through to a 3-1 win.

The men’s Round 2 featured #TeamHarrow’s Marwan ElShorbagy and Tarek Momen, decked out in ELITE Team gear.

In the women’s event, Omneya Abdel Kawy made it to the Quarters. While, Round 2 saw a pack of ELITE Team players with Annie Au, Joshna Chinappa and Raneem El Welily.

With six Harrow athletes seeded in the top 10, and a dominant performance by all, the Hong Kong Open results certainly signal a strong year for the ELITE Team.
