York poised to repeat as Maine Class B champs; Nokomis stands in the way

York High School’s field hockey steam defended their Western Maine Class B championship with a 2-1 win over rival Wells in Monday’s regional title game. The Wildcats now aim to repeat as state champion on Saturday in Yarmouth when it plays Eastern Maine champion Gardiner, which defeated Nokomis. Read more at SeacoastOnline.
